My Beloved and Darling Prophet(pbuh)

MY BELOVED PROPHET

I have been
And always will be
Calling and praising
Your beautiful name
Like a mantra on the lips
Of our pious saints
You are not unkind to orphans
With practice you merged your theories
Your pardon embraced
The bitterest enemy of yours
You are a cradle to children
The emancipator of
The weaker sex and slaves
I am completely obsess with you
My beloved and darling Prophet
I become like a prisoner
In the darkest deadly dungeon
For I have not seen your countenance.
My bliss in this world
Is only to kiss the dust
Of your beautiful and attractive grave
The greatest enemy of mine
Is he who inveighs against you
And I will –to death –strangle him
And send a poison pen letter
To his family, for them to inhale death.
You leave your enemies in the dust
 Fretting over you.
When the eyes of heroes
Went red in the battle field
For succor, they used to resort
To you, the most sublime of all men
The grievous grieve I am having in my life
Is that my ears were not opportune
To catch your inspiring conversation
Produced by your dulcet tone.
As ransom,
My parents’ life and that of mine
I give for yours
My beloved and darling prophet
I love you

MAIDUGURI!

How can you be sitting down
Telling me
That you care
That you care
When every time I look around
People suffer and suffer
In every way
In every way
                                     – Late Bob Marley

Do we really care about our brothers and our future??!!
What had happened in Baga and what is happening now in Maiduguri has compelled me to say liars we are, if YES is the answer we have to the above question.
They have been smashing and grinding our future. The blood shed is too much. In fact it is not a massacre but apocalyptic attempt to the Muslim Umma.
Is there no any cardiologist who can tell our people that the killing, the blood shed, the burning, the …… all are signs of heartlessness???!!!
Is there no any journalist who can dig out the truth and relate it to the people and government???!!!
Is there no any elite who knows the ways of finding lasting solution to the problem???!!!
Pity, our journalists are only interested in pasting the killings in their papers. The elite are there making stupid analysis.
Where are our northern leaders? Frankly, I have to let you know that your cocoon will never protect you. An adage in Hausa goes “ABINDA YA CI DOMA BA ZAI BAR AWAI BA”.
By God, if the leaders, the respected statesmen, the elite the common men of our region, arewa, contribute nothing to end this massacre in the name of fighting terrorism, I have to quote what Ibrahm Sheme had said in one of his articles:
“The ghost of those killed and those to be killed would not let you sleep in peace. Amin.”
