THE KEG IS INTACTThe struggle of those who died in the Kano, Lagos and other parts of our dear country Nigeria in the recent concluded demonstration and strike over the oil subsidy removal will never go in vain. The keg is intact only the water spilled. Like the rain which brings out plants, their blood had made the emancipation tree germinated, and it is going to be watered with the blood of tyrant, unpatriotic citizens, saboteurs …… I do not go wrong; I strongly follow the footsteps of Sir Nnamdi Azikwe where he said:
The tree of emancipation must be watered with the blood tyrants and saboteurs.O my martyr! Thank you for giving your yesterday for our today. Your names must be inscribed by us on the stone of justice for our posterity to praise, love and always remember how gallantly and bravely you fought against the injustice.
To the saboteurs I am saying: our votes have sent you to Abuja, but the power you got through our votes has been sending our dear brothers to graves. Ironically, this is the dividend of democracy you promised us. Well, thank you, but remember, if the office you are now in is permanent, none of you would have been there. The most beautiful thing about it is that all your deeds were recorded and you’ll handsomely pay for it, if not now than later.
